BeMagic
BeMagic mobile application.
Overview
Initially launched in 2020, the BeMagic application had undergone numerous updates over the years. However, it was reaching the end of its technical life cycle. A complete overhaul was essential.
Now based on Flutter technology, the application was entirely rewritten to benefit from a sound, modern and future-proof base. At the same time, a graphic refresh was carried out, along with an in-depth analysis of the application's use.
This led to the emergence of specific needs, notably the personalization of the home page and the addition of enriched station information.

Challenge
A project like BeMagic is full of challenges!
The challenge: to completely rethink the application in a new language in order to enhance the user experience while optimizing performance.
The redesign was also an opportunity to reinforce the application's security, while guaranteeing maximum transparency for the user. The change of technology also involved rewriting the APIs used to aggregate data from multiple sources.

The user experience is designed to adapt to all devices. This means that users can easily view content regardless of the device they are using. The loading and display performance ensures smooth content playback.

An in-depth analysis of needs and an assessment of usage of the previous version have enabled us to rethink the user experience.
One of the key features of the new version is the customization of the home page. Users can now configure the information they need as soon as they open the app: choice of stations, weather, webcam display, opening status...
Each element can be configured and reorganized, providing a clear, efficient interface tailored to individual needs.

The choice of colors was guided by several considerations to ensure optimal harmony and legibility. They are directly inspired by the work we carried out when creating the magicpass.ch website. The application is in keeping with and respects the existing graphic charter.

A strong identity and a style that can be applied throughout the application
The creation of a Design System for this project represents an important step in the construction of a strong visual identity. It's a set of principles, rules and graphic resources used to create and maintain visual harmony across all variations.
